Meet Jake

My Design Philosophy

With my MFA in Scenic Design from the University of Maryland and my BA in Scenic Design from the State University of New York at New Paltz, I've been working to create new spaces for decades.

My specialty is a wide range of experience. From designing and building tiny homes in Sonoma, California, to designing and building sets for million dollar movies. I have worked as a plumber, a plasterer, a framer, a finish carpenter and a contractor.

When these powers combine, I can see a world of possibilities when creating original spaces in a unique and custom way. I believe in the right material for the right space, whether that mean recycling to save the world (or a buck), or beautiful inviting warmth of textures and sunlight.

I dont just work from a perspective of numbers, but of how these spaces will fit in your lives, and how you live in them with your families, animals, or just memories.
